Remarkable Tales is a blog devoted to the discovery and celebration of short speculative fiction. While my tastes range from science fiction and fantasy to supernatural horror, the stories most likely to resonate with me are character-focused pieces with a strong emotional core. If I’m still thinking about a story a few days after reading it, there’s a good chance it will find its way onto this blog.

The philosophy behind Remarkable Tales is simple: recommendation over criticism. Rather than posting negative reviews of stories that didn’t work for me, I’d rather champion those I feel are worth checking out. We all have different tastes and experiences, so my goal is never to convince someone not to read a story. Instead, I hope to connect readers with stories they may not have discovered otherwise.
